Kim Henderson is a graphic designer residing in the trendy neighborhood of Tremont, just outside of downtown Cleveland. Kim graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications, specializing in the area of Publication Design / Informational Graphics.

During her time at Ohio University, Kim was actively involved with on-campus activities, both volunteer and employed. Kim spent 4 years on the Ohio University Programming Council serving a General Member, Web Design Chair and Concerts Co-Chair. She served as the Marketing Director and Web Designer for Brick City Records, a student run record label. Kim worked for the student-run newspaper, The Post, as a Classifieds, Sports and front page designer throughout her college career. During her senior year, Kim was fortunate enough to spend a quarter as a web and page designer for Ohio University’s Southeast Ohio Magazine. During this time, Kim spent 6 months working as an Event Assistant at the Ohio University student center booking concerts in the both the coffeehouse and 300-seat theater. Additionally, Kim spent one quarter as an intern for MusicToday working on a viral campaign with 5 others for the Vans Warped Tour.

Kim also completed three internships during college career with tasks in graphic design, marketing and public relations. The first residing in Cleveland, Kim worked as a graphic designer for Fortune 500 company, Sherwin Williams, in the Internet Services Department in the summer of 2010. She completed two internships the following summer for Grove-city based Beulah Park Throughbred Racetrack and Event Center as a Marketing Assistant and in Columbus at Live Nation’s Germain Amphitheater as a Public Relations Intern.

Kim is currently employed with Meister Media Worldwide, a communication and information center for worldwide specialized agriculture located in downtown Willoughby. With a focus primarily on print design projects, Kim has been the brand liason for 2-3 business to business brands with responsibilities ranging from monthly magazine layout and design, advertisement creation, web design and development and event marketing and signage.

Through her various experiences, Kim has developed quite the tool belt with skill sets in not only graphic design but marketing and event planning as well. She strives in environments centered around social. Tackle new challenges. Deadlines.

Now with 5 years of experience, Kim is looking to tackle freelance.
